Geoﬀ, who is at the forefront of the business, is available to oﬀer his solution ﬁnding brain to any steel project you may have.
Geoff started his career in 1968 as an apprentice plater and welder for Mather and Platt (Newton Heath, Manchester) and achieved his Lloyds Class 1 Level. Throughout his career Geoff has worked for many companies. In 1983 he pursued his ambitions to start his own company - Coylebank Fabrications, designing and manufacturing the Vitrux glass handling system. With the downturn in the industry Geoff closed this company in 1989. He started working as Contracts Manager for Solway Engineers. In 1995 he set up and managed a fabrication facility for G. Read and Son. In 2000 Geoff began Teal Engineering Services Limited. With his passion of Kayaking and Sailing Geoff used his experience and knowledge he designed and began manufacturing Kari-Tek Products in 2003. Geoff's niche talent is to come up with a solution before most people have a question. His out of the box solutions have seen Teal Engineering Services evolve and grow for 20 years.
Director and Responsible Welding Co-Ordinator
Adam started his career following his dad’s footsteps at the age of 4, helping his dad with any jobs. He continued this passion when he left school and attended Kilmarnock College where he achieved his HNC in Fabrication ready for the start of Teal Engineering Services in 2000. Adam has furthered his qualifications by qualifying as the Company’s Responsible Welding Co-Ordinator (RWC) and in 2015 was promoted to Works Manager. Adam has since become a Director of the Company in 2020.
Business Manager & Kari-Tek Production Manager
Gaynor joined the Company in 2015 and is at the forefront of the business working as the Business Manager and Kari-Tek Products Manager. Gaynor comes from 12 years military service in the RAF as a Senior Administrator and has a further 20 years’ experience working in administrative and accounts roles.
